Are you dreaming of a white Christmas?
Winter came early to our corner of the world, and so far it has packed a heavy punch in most areas. These photos were taken a week ago, after our first significant snowfall. We’ve had more since then.
Inspiration can come to the artist in us in many ways. I hope to expand my own horizons in the coming new year, and I wish the same for you.
Here are a few new horizons from Perry’s Point to inspire creativity through the frosty months ahead.
We live on Snowy Beach Avenue now! 🙂
I must give credit where credit is due: Paul “helped” with these next three. They were taken in the last couple of hours before sunset.

“The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.” ~ Christopher McCandless

What do you see on your horizon for 2017?
WOW! so far behind with reading post Jennifer but glad I stopped by, these images are so beautiful, almost magical. You live in a very special place for sure.

I’m glad you stopped by too, Kath. It’s beautiful here this morning as well, with the sun shining on the crisp white snow and the ice in the bay. Never gets old.

Ahhhh the beach is OURS! After all the tourists are gone the true beach lovers are all that’s left.

This is true. I do miss seeing the children running across the sand, though. And it’s sooo cold. Brrrr!

Thank you, Barbara. I’ll do my best! It warmed up for one day and now it’s subzero again.

Oh my, Jennifer 💛
I love the beautiful balance of this time of year. I love the snow, ice, blue skies that you capture so well!
Yet, it also makes me appreciative of our melting and warm winds that can still reach us here in Pennsylvania. 💝

Speaking of melting, most of the snow you see in these pics is gone since overnight! We had heavy rain last night. It may not be a white Christmas after all. 😬
