Beach Golf, Anyone?

Disclaimer:Β  No wildlife was harmed during the creation of this photo shoot.

My son came for a visit here in Newtown this past week. On one of the days, I went along to take pics of him and my husband playing beach golf. This beautiful sandy beach is only a few hundred yards from our house. The weather was cool and windy, but I liked the way the photos turned out.

Balls that didn't hit the sandbar are easily found because the water is shallow.

What do you like to do when you go to the beach?

              1. I’ve tried it and I’m not very good. I have an awesome drive but my putting is horrible and I insist on counting every stroke and those waiting to play the hole I’m on start to get a bit cranky!

  1. You guys are so blessed to be living in such a beautiful environment. I would love to visit you sometime, that’s for sure. The sand ripples are awesome! πŸ™‚

        1. I bet! The sandbar they were aiming for is the same one that becomes visible most days at 3 or 4 in the afternoon. My granddaughter likes to walk across it with us to the island at the other end, which she calls China! I have to admit, it feels surreal to “walk across the ocean” like that. You would love it.
