Frozen Time

Photography is the art of frozen time

“Photography is the art of frozen time …
the ability to store emotion and feelings within a frame.”

Photos were taken on the first of January while out for an afternoon walk.
Our faces felt frozen but our bodies stayed toasty warm.

Time to bundle up on those walks, my northern friends.
Happy New Year to all!

  1. Beautiful!!!! I grew up in Northern Manitoba – there is nothing as stimulating as a Canadian winter – feeling the freedom of walking in the wilderness. “Nothing burns like the cold.” George R.R. Martin, A Game of Thrones

    1. Thank you, Jill. Even though it was cold, it was actually a gorgeous day – and the calm before a blizzard. When we heard what was coming, it gave us incentive to get outdoors while we could! Warmer and pouring rain here today, so I’ll be on my treadmill later too. 🙂
