  1. I do love those photos with Vivian. She looks content to just lie on the sand and enjoy the sun. Would she come back to the house if you called to her, or did you have to carry her back? It surprises me to admit that Fall might be approaching down here in Florida. This week we started leaving open the French doors to our screened-in porch, for the first time in months. And leaves and acorns are dropping too. The heat index has still climbed into triple digits, but the porch is well-shaded. We’re enjoying the respite 🙂

    1. Triple digits, yikes! But if it’s a respite for you, wonderful. 😊
Vivian never went to the beach by herself, and only followed us a few times. Funny about that because she loved exploring everywhere else on the Point. One time Maisie followed Paul and Viv to the beach, and Paul saw her have a pee in the sand, and then she covered it up! A giant litterbox, haha. Thanks, Marie!

  2. Just what I needed, Jennifer, a lovely virtual trip to the beach before fall sets in!

Btw, my novel Healing River (based on my feature film) is coming out this fall. I’d be honored if you’d consider reading it and writing a brief endorsement. Assuming the publisher uses it, it will appear on the dust jacket and possibly on the back of the paperback edition as well.

  3. Hi Jennifer! I hope you are doing well. These pictures really depict late summer. I loved the one begging me to go barefoot. We were just at the beach over the weekend and now I long to see the ocean again. Fall is approaching but it’s still warm here.

    1. Nice to see you visiting again, Barbara! There’s nothing quite like a visit to the beach, is there? And I love the ocean. We have cool days and warm days now, but it won’t be long changing to all cold days around here. Newfoundland summers are short and sweet. ☀️

      1. I can imagine – but your landscape is so beautiful. What a joy to look out every day at the sea. I meant to comment in the last comment that I was surprised that Vivian liked the sand. Our cats did not like the sandy beaches. 🐈‍⬛
