Besides being featured on Jill Weatherholt’s blog yesterday, I also guest posted on The Writer’s Path to share one of my articles on writing fiction.
It was interesting to look back on this post because I wrote it before either of my books were published. Still, I believe the concepts hold true and I wouldn’t change a thing.

I had never thought of tying in that excitement about the next project with finishing the current one, but it does make sense in the way you illustrated it. I also feel like the second point is the most important one for writers. I cannot imagine why anyone would do it if they did not love the process of writing!

I’m going over to read it. Bringing back those memories of a first draft are special.

This was great, Jennifer! As I mentioned over on The Writer’s Path, number two is a must!
Thanks so much for taking the spotlight on my blog. It’s been so much fun. 🙂

Agreed on #2. Writing is much too hard if you don’t enjoy the process.
As for the spotlight, my pleasure, Jill! It’s been great. 😊
