A force to be reckoned with at 5 years old

In my fifteenth year, do you think . . .
. . . I’m still pretty?
I can’t see the difference. Can you see the difference?
Not much has changed for me in the past decade—aside from the devastation of losing my sweet sister Maisie two years ago.
As a mature feline (not gonna use the word old!), I still lead quite an active life. I go outdoors several times a day. I eat both wet and dry cat food, which Jennifer thinks helps keep my fur nice and soft. I’m an exceptionally clean creature and a fastidious groomer. And I get plenty of love and attention from both my staff.
The one thing that has changed a bit are the length and number of my naps.
Beauty sleep is a must!
Yes, there’s no denying I’m a cat “of a certain age.” But when you are healthy and enjoying your days in a relaxed, wholesome, loving environment, life is a joy. In some ways, I’m still growing: in my experience, my wisdom, an ever-growing collection of memories, and my “kitty” vocabulary!
Perhaps some of you (and that includes my human friends and followers) can relate.

Vivian, once a beauty, always a beauty–especially for you. Senior cats are the best! I just accepted two senior cats from a family member to add to my group of 3 seniors and 1 non-senior. Didn’t expect that, didn’t look for it, but they are such beautiful sweethearts. Please send them good purr vibes, Vivian!

Vivian–you are a treasure! And you don’t look a day over 5! How does that even happen?! 😸 Back in March, the two outdoor kitties, White Paws and Nugget, became indoor kitties and they love it! Does your staff brush you, Miss Viv? These two kitties have a morning routine for me: after breakfast, I must take my coffee into the living room, sit in a certain chair by the window, and brush each one of these two. They have me so well trained!

As a cat who was rescued (I can’t remember but I was told I was), it makes me purr to know you let those kitties in! Lucky little pusses indeed. Thanks for the compliments! Love Vivian 😻🐾

I don’t see a difference between the pictures. I nap longer too so that’s normal. You are doing great!
