That’s a cool way to look at it. It can be quite Zen for me – the softness of her fur, the heat from her body, the purrs and sleepy eyes – I was grateful last night after a weekend away to indulge each other again. ☺️
Wouldn’t it, though? If she is dreaming, I’d say it’s about hunting for voles or shrews or eating her favourite wet food. Or possibly a dream about her favourite person: my husband. 😊
Jane Pauley knows what’s she’s talking about! I’m calm, now 🙂 Just seeing this today, Jennifer. Sorry I’m so late in visiting!

I love the quote/photo duet. I agree, having a cat on my lap and hearing the contented purring, reminds me to embrace resilience and hope.

You cannot look at a sleeping cat without smiling. So cute, Jennifer.

And after being away for the weekend I can’t wait to see her again … very shortly. Maisie too! Thanks, Lois.

It would be fascinating to know what dreams, if any, are going on in your cat’s head.

Indeed. A cat on my lap is my meditation.
