For the Labour Day weekend, my daughter and her family came for a visit. The weather was gorgeous, so we spent most of our time outside walking sandbars, trails and beaches in the area.
I wish I could take credit for the photography, but these were among the pics my daughter took.

We had a fantastic weekend together,
but I’m greedily hoping for nice weather all month.
I’m not ready for summer to end! Are you?
Thanks for sharing your beautiful family visit! I can feel the joy shining through.

Fabulous pictures Jennifer, looks like Maisie and Vivian don’t want someone to go home 🙂

Thanks from my daughter! My family loves cats and my cats love them, so you’re probably right. 😉

Stunning photos! As an aspiring grandparent (who had better be patient), I am happy for you getting to spend such a beautiful end-of-summer idyll with your extended family.

Thanks, Jan! It was a super fun weekend and it’s still a busy month ahead so I’m not blogging as often. I hope you become a grandma soon. 🙂

What a gorgeous sky and what a cute grandson 🙂 Kids sure do grow fast – mine have passed me by! Looks like you had fantastic weather – I hope you have more days like these, Jennifer.

I hope so too, Barbara!
What I’d really love is an Indian summer. Ours started late so I’m not ready for fall quite yet. 🙂

I know what you mean. We had a one of our first cooler days yesterday, but it was cloudy. Now the sun is out and the temps are 70s. That’s perfect!

I understand, considering where you live. I hope Dorian didn’t do any damage in your neck of the woods! XO

Thanks, Jennifer. Luckily (for us, anyway) she did not. But she tore up South Carolina pretty badly. We have 3 more months of hurricane season left, so I hope this is it!

I hope so too, Lois. These hurricanes are so unpredictable. We’re supposed to get the tail end of it on Sunday.

Just saw the news and it said Dorian is hitting Canada. Are you OK?

We’re fine, Lois, thanks for your concern. 🙂
Nova Scotia got hit much worse than we did, with major outages and damage mostly from falling trees. The west coast of NL got the worst here, but still not as bad as NS. It’s gone out to sea now. Bye bye, Dorian!

That’s my favourite too, Jill. 😊 And it’s pretty amazing what an iPhone can capture.

Looks like a great weekend with family Jennifer! J is so handsome. Maisie and Vivian love the luggage like my Tater.

It was! And for us as well. 🙂
The only problem is how quickly it flew by.
