One of the best things about a vacation?
Coming home to a face like this.
Both kitties were overjoyed at our return,
as if we were gone for a month!

Ahh…that is such a cute adoring face! 😀😀 Brilliantly captured! My cat used to get in a huff when I came back from a break away and ignored me for a day or two … and of course I felt ever so guilty. I hope you had a wonderful and relaxing vacation, Jennifer!

Ha ha, one way or another, cats show us how they really feel!
We had a lovely relaxing time on vacation, Annika. Made time for lots of reading too. 🙂

Maisie is such a pretty girl. We just got back from a long weekend, and Parker refused to greet us at the door. That will teach us…..

Got the cold shoulder, hey? Cats are so different from dogs! 😁 Maisie says thanks for the compliment.

Welcome back. I love how animals welcome us as if we were gone forever! I imagine their sense of time may be different from ours and it really feels like a month.

I think you’re right about that. Vivian looks anxious now whenever
Paul goes out the door!

You make me want a cat, Jennifer. And I live in coyote country! The last three cats we had, well, never returned.

Oh my, that’s so sad, Jacqui. No, best you don’t try to have anymore. Those darn coyotes. 😦

What a wonderful quote to go with Maisie’s pretty face. Hope you had a great time away. Sounds like it was at least warm. 😊

When I saw that quote, I knew it was the perfect fit for this post. Yes we had a lovely time, and dare I say almost too warm? For fairskinned folk like me, it was a challenge not to get too much sun.

It sure is, Miriam. Of course our other one, who is more vocal, gave us a good telling off for being gone in the first place. 🙂
