I love the quote/photo duet. I agree, having a cat on my lap and hearing the contented purring, reminds me to embrace resilience and hope.

That’s a cool way to look at it. It can be quite Zen for me – the softness of her fur, the heat from her body, the purrs and sleepy eyes – I was grateful last night after a weekend away to indulge each other again. ☺️

Wouldn’t it, though? If she is dreaming, I’d say it’s about hunting for voles or shrews or eating her favourite wet food. Or possibly a dream about her favourite person: my husband. 😊
