Which Way?

Happy Friday, all!
Here’s a fun photo challenge from the blog Alive and Trekking.

Which way do I go for my favourite local walking trail?
To Greenspond, of course!

And which way to Bennett Island?
Across the water from Newtown, that’s where.

While visiting Italy, which way to Siena?
Through this archway!

Our group entering Siena in Italy.
Most of the walls built in the 10th and 11th century still surround the city today.

And which direction do we go to spend lots of money?
This way!

Shops and boutiques line many of the streets in Siena.

Here I am getting ready to leave Grand Central Station
to explore New York City. But which way should I go?
There’s so much to see!

Excited to visit the Big Apple

Back in Newfoundland, what is the only way
to enter St. John’s Harbour from the Atlantic Ocean?
Through the Narrows.

And finally, which way was Maisie going on that lovely August day?
Where was she leading Vivian? Who knows?

  1. Jennifer, a wonderful post and I loved your responses and I’ve had a special time traveling the world from my studio! Your local walk is a dream, oh, to walk down that path, cross the water! Heavenly! Sienna looks magical and Grand Central Station photo of you is fantastic. I remember arriving at the station and nearly falling over as I spun round and round whilst looking up and around! Like Jacqui, my mind will be bubbling with responses to this terrific prompt!

    1. Annika, you kindly loved my responses and I love your enthusiastic comments! I know you would adore that walking trail, and of course, magical Siena too. 😊 And as you are well aware, Grand Central Station is indeed “grand”, as is all of New York City. Have yourself a wonderful weekend, my friend.

  2. I love the Newfoundland trails. I especially remember the view from Signal Hill on a cold, rainy day. I felt exhilarated. When you look out towards the ocean, the horizon goes on forever. I loved tagging along on your adventures in Italy and the Big Apple.

    1. Yes, that’s how it feels whenever I take in that fabulous view. As for sharing memories of my travels, it helps in these times of needing to stay at home. Hoping we can soon take that long awaited trip, though!
