Photos were taken on the first of January while out for an afternoon walk.
Our faces felt frozen but our bodies stayed toasty warm.
Time to bundle up on those walks, my northern friends.

Today the sunrise was 7:58 and sunset will be 4:30. Only 8 and a half hours. Could be worse!

True – our sunrise was at 7:23 and sunset is at 4:52, so we have a little more sunshine, though not today. Cloudy and misty!

Thank you, Jill. Even though it was cold, it was actually a gorgeous day – and the calm before a blizzard. When we heard what was coming, it gave us incentive to get outdoors while we could! Warmer and pouring rain here today, so I’ll be on my treadmill later too. 🙂

The shining sun always makes things look warmer. It’s foggy and cold over here right now but about 50 degrees. I’m shivering!
