As anyone who follows me regularly can attest, I don’t use this blog too often for shameless self-promotion of my novels.
Please allow me to make an exception for today.
I am on Cloud Nine since Wednesday, when my debut book Calmer Girls peaked at Number One on the Amazon Canada Bestseller list for Teen Fiction, specifically in the Kindle Store categories of Teen Pregnancy, as well as a peak at Number Two for Dating & Intimacy.
Yay! 😀
What a nice feeling to hit those numbers.
Thank you, Canada.
***end of self-promo***
I now return you to regularly scheduled programming.
See you on Sunday!
Thank you, Kath. I like bragging sometimes, but only when I think I’ve really earned it! 😄

Jennifer, CONGRATULATIONS!! 😀🎉 That is fantastic news and of course you should share this great news with us all! Have you come back to earth yet? I can only imagine what it’s like to see ones book at the top of the charts…cheering for you! 😀

Thanks so much, Annika! I admit it felt a little surreal on Wednesday when it happened. It’s still hovering around 2nd and 3rd place in that category on Amazon Canada – last time I looked – so that’s good too! 🙂

I am so excited for you! That is amazing. Those of us who have read it know it is well-deserved. My To HUnt a Sub got to single digits in its genre then fell back. I was so excited!

How very kind of you, Jacqui. I appreciate your excitement. 🙂
CG also hit single digits earlier this year but this was the first time reaching number 1 in its genre. Now if only it could do that in the US!

It’s your blog Jennifer…toot your horn! Congratulations girl, I’m so happy for you. Very well deserved indeed! ❤

Thank you, dear Jill. If I can’t toot my horn about something like this, what is the point of a blog? 😄
Seriously though, I am averse to spamming followers with too much author stuff. My blog is for other creative endeavours and as a social outlet. I appreciate your kind words. xo

Congrats, Jennifer! That’s fantastic. It’s a wonderful feeling, isn’t it? My first book reached #1 in medical thrillers on Amazon after a BookBub promotion. I snapped a picture of it because I knew it was the day that pigs flew. 😄
Enjoy the ride. You deserve it!

“The day that pigs flew” – ha ha that’s a pretty good way to describe the surreal feeling I had yesterday. Truthfully though, I think Paul was more impressed than I was. 😄
Thank you for saying it was deserved. Cheers! 💕
