Welcome back for the Big Reveal.
On Sunday, I asked “What has gotten Vivian so concerned?”
Scroll down to find out!
On an especially gorgeous Saturday last month, Paul and I decided to go out for a row in the Serendipity, a lovely little punt built by our late neighbour, Ben Perry.
We came up with the ‘brilliant’ idea
to try to take Vivian along.
We did everything we could to coax her aboard,
but she was having no part of it.
In fact, she almost lost her mind that we were going,
with or without her.
She cried to break her heart as we left.
Bon voyage!
Your loss, Viv.
Rounding Perry’s Point…
…and down through the Tickle
Part of a wedding photo shoot.
You never know what you’ll see
when you’re out for a row.
Leaving the Tickle,
we set out for Bennett Island.
In case you were wondering why there are no lifejackets,
the water is very shallow here.
Vivian missed out,
but thank you for coming along!

Looks like a fun outing. I love it when you get extra bonus photo ops like the wedding party 🙂

Oh, dear. Vivian was quite vocal with you and Paul, wasn’t she? And Maisie had no interest at all?

Lois, Vivian is always vocal with us. Miss Gabby she is! Maisie is far more quiet and timid and would never venture as far as her sister does. 🙂

I so love the different personalities in cats–just like in kids.

Of course you’re right, Janet. One can never be too careful, even if the water is shallow. As for the words in all caps – just, no.

Vivian did indeed miss out! Wonderful photos. What a beautiful ride that must have been. And I love the wedding shot. What a great idea for the men to pose like that. Until the overhand collapses, anyway… 😉

No it didn’t collapse – wouldn’t that have been awful on someone’s wedding day!
It was a spectacular little ride. 😊

Vivian definitely missed out, but I’m not sure she’d see it that way 🙂

No, she didn’t get it at all, Andrea. Her loss! 😊

But… but… how is she? Was she angry when you returned? What did she do in your absence? I have so many questions, Jennifer!

No, I think she went for a nap in the bushes somewhere and forgot all about us. No need for worry, Jacqui, she’s a very resilient little cat. 😊

Lovely to come along on your trip out, Jennifer.😀 It looks so serene and beautiful…I did worry about the guys on the roof, though! A great scenic day and it must be tempting to drop over the edge for a quick swim? Cats and water don’t usually mix and I’m not surprised Vivian decided to stay back – I bet she was pleased to see you again!! 😀 Thank you for sharing and I loved your beautiful crystal clear photos – as if I could hear the water lapping, taste the fresh air. Ahh…

Thank you, Annika! Summer or not, the sea water was too cold to tempt me for a swim. But it was a beautiful day and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Vivian is such an eccentric cat, we thought she might come along, but she was even afraid for us. 😊 A great afternoon nonetheless. ❤️
