July is over! Whaaa?
Can you believe how quickly it whizzed by?
This month is shaping up to be
another busy one for yours truly.
First, there’s this:
I am honoured to be making three appearances during this Author Tour.
Getting to rub shoulders with the literary talent in our fair province is a huge part of the fun. Do drop by our libraries if you’re in Gander or Clarenville on these above dates, or if you’re in St. John’s for the Grand Finale. (More about the finale later)
I will also be busy with my two grandkids + one little friend, who are coming tomorrow for a week-long stay here on Perry’s Point.
And then there’s work on the new novel in between all of this, not to mention all those chances to soak up more summer.
FYI:
I’m running an Amazon Countdown Deal
for Calmer Secrets from
August 2nd to August 9th.
Score a Kindle copy
of this sequel to Calmer Girls
at a discount on Amazon.com
and Amazon.co.uk.
What are your plans for August?
Do tell!
Sounds like you had a busy August Jennifer and now its coming to a close as well, still have not had the time to start book two hopefully soon.

I did, Kath, and it was all good. Had lots of fun with the kids too. Unfortunately I didn’t get much writing done, but September should bring me back to it. I wish you the best with your projects! 🙂

Hopefully September is a productive month for both of us Jennifer

Congrats! It’s not always easy to do this part of your book. And you look too young to be a grandma!! 😍

I didn’t really need any more reminders that summer is almost over (since when did the beginning of August signal that!???!). But congrats on your tour and I hope you spread the word far and wide about your books!

Thanks for the well wishes. As for me wanting summer to slow down, you might want to check the map or google Newfoundland to understand how short our summer is compared to California!

How exciting for you, Jennifer! Looking forward to reading about your new book and future success! What will the Calmer Girls be up to next?

My third book is a departure from the Calmer Girls, Barbara. The setting is still Newfoundland, but it’s in the future and with all new characters. A challenging project, but I wanted to try something different. 🙂

Sounds fun to invent new characters! Can’t wait to learn more!

Thank you, dear Jill. I’ll think about it, but I try not to overpromote myself too much here on WordPress. Being a writer is only a fraction of why I love to blog.

So exciting, Jennifer! I am sure August will fly by for you. This is the last week of minimal traffic on my daily commute to work–school starts here next week. I am so sure these kids wonder where in the heck summer went.

I hate summer flying by so fast! Then again, it does interfere with putting the nose to the old grindstone. Btw, kids here don’t return to school until September.

Congrats on the author tour! That’s exciting. Always more interesting to do in person. Get out your hidden extrovert and let it shine!

A necessary evil, it feels like, to introverts like us. Ah well…thanks, Carrie, I’m going to remember your words. 🙂
