This small photo collection, all taken here in Newtown,
was inspired by today’s Daily Prompt.

Not so fun: sandy sinkhole in our driveway when we first moved here:
Oh “Deere.”

This is awesome! And snow and sand DO have a lot in common. We don’t see much of either of those here in Nashville.

They do have a lot in common, and for half the year we have both! Thanks for dropping by! 😊

Great associations with the prompt Jennifer – I love to see tracks in snow, though some of yours are a little scarier than ours 🙂

This is great, Jennifer! I love the sandy faces. Yikes! Polar bear tracks, really?

Yes, really! This was the first appearance by one in four or five years, but it may become yearly the way the polar ice cap is melting. They come down on ice floes looking for food. We were a tad terrified here for a few days until he left again. 😳

In spite of the danger, he – or she – was very beautiful to watch, playing around on the shoreline. 🙂

That was very fun. I can’t believe I’ve never done the faces-in-the-sand game!
