To Sea by Virtue

One sunny afternoon last month, we accompanied friends aboard the Virtue, their Beneteau 400 sailing vessel.
We were only too happy to share in the enjoyment of the October sea and sky.

  1. Beautiful post. It looks like a perfect day sailing. We had your boat’s little sister…28 feet, a beautiful sail, berthed in the Firth of the Forth in Edinburgh, Scotland. We had many a blue sky. I love sailing. Enjoy. 🙂

  2. Yes, many times. The one thing I regret about my move tot he North of England is the decision I made to sell my boat. Unless you are a dedicated fisherman (which I am not) the North Sea holds few charms. So I content myself with memories, and beautiful reminiscences inspired by your excellent pictures. Thank you.

  4. The quote by Arthur C. Clarke made me laugh, because it’s so true. Gorgeous pictures, Jennifer. I’ve been sailing once off one of our local docks. My experience with boats has been mainly kayaking when we lived up north. You’ve brought back fond memories.

  9. Those photos are beautiful and makes me want to be there. The small islands reminds me of a place I visited in the Great Lakes region in the US. Oh how I miss it there. Thank you for taking us on this trip with you.
