Beach Golf, Anyone?

Disclaimer:  No wildlife was harmed during the creation of this photo shoot.

My son came for a visit here in Newtown this past week. On one of the days, I went along to take pics of him and my husband playing beach golf. This beautiful sandy beach is only a few hundred yards from our house. The weather was cool and windy, but I liked the way the photos turned out.

What do you like to do when you go to the beach?

        1. I bet! The sandbar they were aiming for is the same one that becomes visible most days at 3 or 4 in the afternoon. My granddaughter likes to walk across it with us to the island at the other end, which she calls China! I have to admit, it feels surreal to “walk across the ocean” like that. You would love it.

  1. You guys are so blessed to be living in such a beautiful environment. I would love to visit you sometime, that’s for sure. The sand ripples are awesome! 🙂

              1. I’ve tried it and I’m not very good. I have an awesome drive but my putting is horrible and I insist on counting every stroke and those waiting to play the hole I’m on start to get a bit cranky!
